Family Fertility
Center offers a comprehensive gestational surrogacy for couples in which
the woman produces healthy eggs but is unable to carry a pregnancy to
term. Gestational surrogacy is their only hope of ever having their own
biological child.
During a gestational
surrogacy cycle, eggs retrieved from the intended mother (or an egg donor)
are fertilized with the partner's sperm in the laboratory. Next,
the embryos are transferred into the uterus of a gestational carrier, who
carries the pregnancy and gives birth to the baby. The baby is the
biological child of the intended parents.
Gestational
surrogates are generous and compassionate women who can give the most
precious gift to an infertile couple – a baby. Typically, the intended
parents pay for the medical expenses associated with the pregnancy and
delivery. In addition, gestational carriers are compensated for their
time, kindness, and generosity.
