   Financial Counseling:

Our Center participates with several insurance plans.  However, benefits for infertility diagnosis or treatment may or may not be available under your health insurance plan.  If you do have benefits, your plan may limit your coverage to a certain dollar amount or a specific number of treatment cycles. 

We encourage you to fully investigate your benefits prior to the start of your treatment so that you can make informed decisions about treatments recommended by your doctor.  For example, if you have a lifetime maximum of $5,000.00 for artificial insemination and in-vitro fertilization, you may choose a more aggressive treatment regimen to optimize your lifetime benefit.   Furthermore, we strongly recommend you obtain written verification of your benefits in order to minimize misunderstandings which can become quite costly to you.  We will be happy to assist you in writing a letter to verify your benefits. 

If the lack of insurance is a concern, the Family Fertility Center offers several financial options that can be of assistance to you, including global treatment fees, Partners in IVF Program, Multi-Cycle Discount Program, the 100% Refund Donor Oocyte Program as well as financing through Capital One Healthcare Finance. Our experienced financial team is available to explain the costs of treatment as well as the various program options. 

For couples with no insurance who require assisted reproductive technologies (ART), we offer three innovative treatment programs:

   1) Partners in IVF Program:

Couples meeting the eligibility requirements may attempt up to four IVF cycles for a flat fee of $30,000. If you achieve a viable pregnancy – that is, a liveborn baby of at least 26 weeks gestation -- on the first attempt, you will pay more with this program than the traditional fee-for-service payment option. However, if all four attempts are unsuccessful, the Family Fertility Center will refund you 50% of your $30,000 fee. Hence, the name “partners”. 

   2) The Multi-Cycle Discount Program:

Couples may attempt three cycles for the cost of two. The only eligibility requirement is no insurance coverage. The cost is $20,000. If you achieve a pregnancy on the first cycle, we’ll refund you $8,000. If you do not achieve a viable pregnancy on the second attempt, you are eligible for a third cycle at no additional charge for included services.

   3) The 100% Refund Donor Oocyte Program:

Eligible couples requiring donor oocytes may attempt up to three cycles of IVF and any associated frozen embryo transfers in order to achieve pregnancy and take home a baby. The program fee is $25,000, plus a non-refundable $8,000 fee per fresh cycle. If the couple does not have a liveborn baby of at least 26 weeks gestation after all fresh and frozen embryo transfers, the Family Fertility Center will refund the couple $25,000.
